This list includes everything from live music events/parties to sewing expos and gun shows. There’s something for everyone, this month in Citrus County.

June 1st – Crystal River Writers (8619 W Crystal St, Crystal River, FL)
We are a group of published and unpublished writers of commercial fiction. We meet every week for a group critique session.
June 2nd – Citrus County School District Job Fair (virtual)
2022 Virtual Statewide Job Fair from 9am-4pm. The University of Florida is partnering with Florida Career Centers to host employers at this year’s virtual event. This is an excellent opportunity to meet employers recruiting for full-time and part-time professional opportunities.
June 2nd– Quilting with The Inverness Quilters (1511 Druid Rd, Inverness, FL)
We are a group of women who meet the first and third Thursdays of each month to talk about quilting, show and tell our latest creations, and share ideas about quilting. Newcomers always welcome!
June 2nd – Sewing for beginners (4100 S Grandmarch Ave, Homosassa, FL)
Hints & Tips of a six-part series covering the basics of sewing; sewing project will be announced. Seating is limited, so beginners only please.
June 4th – 2022 FGTC Fishing Tournament (Plantation, Crystal River 9301 W Fort Island Trail)

June 6th– The Chaz Paddleboard Adventure (8600 W Miss Maggie Dr, Homosassa, FL)
Join Michele with Om Sunshine Yoga and SUP Yoga on an adventure exploring the waters of the Chassahowitzka River and Seven Sisters Springs in Homosassa Florida. This will be a 3-hour fun paddle in the beautiful waters near the Gulf of Mexico.
June 7th– Three Sisters Springs/ Crystal River Paddle Adventure (18 NE 2nd St, Crystal River, FL)
Join Michele with Om Sunshine Yoga and SUP Yoga on an adventure exploring the waters of King’s Bay and Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River Florida. This will be a 3-hour fun paddle in the beautiful waters near the Gulf of Mexico.

June 11th – Inverness Gun Trader Show (3600 S Florida Ave, Inverness, FL)
Bring your Guns & Gold to Sell or Trade at the Inverness Gun Show! There will be both new & used merchandise! Firearms, Ammo, Parts, Accessories and more!
June 13th – Kids Summer Spirit Camp (Lecanto High School)
Kids will learn a variety of cheers, a dance, and learn basic stunting skills from the LHS Cheerleaders! Our program is dedicated to helping our athletes become positive role models in our community by instilling morals such as honesty and accountability.
June 14th – Camp Rah-Rah 2022 (Crystal River High School)
Girls and boys age 3 years old to 8th grade are invited to CRHS Camp Rah-Rah June 14 through June 17 at Crystal River High School. Campers will learn cheers, dances and make crafts, and older campers will learn basic jumps, tumbling and stunting skills with CRHS Cheerleaders.
June 17th – Friday Family Fun Night (Bicentennial Park Pool, Crystal River)

June 18th – BINGO & Hot Dogs (5690 W Pine Ridge Blvd, Beverly Hills, FL)

June 18th – Pet Adoption Event (Rural King, Crystal River)
Join us for a pet adoption event at Rural King in Crystal River! The adoption fees are paid by Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP)! You pay only $10 county license fee. CCFAP is providing a new Martingale collar for each dog adopted. Come pick out your new family member in a fun setting! We will be there from 10 am – 1 pm. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated.
June 19th – Gala of The Royal Horses (3600 S Florida Ave, Inverness, FL)
The Royal Horses of Europe are some of the most celebrated in history, favored for centuries by royalty, equestrian riders and bullfighters and this performance will celebrate the tradition, athleticism and grace of these revered creatures.

June 25th – Date Night (Los Magueyes, Inverness 1674 US-41, Inverness, FL)

This Crystal River gun show is held at Crystal River National Guard Armory and hosted by Gun Trader Shows. All federal, state and local firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed.
