SOLUTION-ORIENTED REAL ESTATE EXPERTISE
Peg’s approach to today’s increasingly complex Real Estate transactions is displayed in her diligent research, consistent communication, flexibility, and attention to details, resulting from the experiences of a lifelong dedication to learning. The benefit for her buyers and sellers is exemplary customer service, mellowed with the gracious spirit of Aloha.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Peg’s career path has encompassed computer programming, education, fine arts, Real Estate, building construction, and twenty years in municipal building code enforcement as a structural building inspector, plans examiner and building official, with years of voluntary service on numerous state and local professional boards. And her passion for education has led to two Bachelor of Art degrees and postgraduate work towards a degree in engineering.
In 2009, Peg and her husband relocated from South Florida to their Homosassa vacation home, a family weekend destination for 20 years. Always looking for a way to connect with people, she resumed her Real Estate career in 2010. She has been a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate since 1988, has held certifications as a general contractor, building inspector, building plans examiner, building official, and home inspector; and she continues to promote effective continuing education for all professional license holders.
WHY CITRUS COUNTY?
Citrus County is a vibrant area exploding with opportunities for businesses, learning, and fun. Peg has found that many of her customers from out of the area are not aware of the great benefits of living in Citrus County. So in addition to providing valuable information about area homes of interest to them, she helps to focus on how their specific interests may be met here by directing them to local resource information and providing an overview of the Citrus County lifestyle, demographics, and history.
The experiences of living in Africa, in many of our 50 states, and traveling to many European countries, as well as to parts Canada and Mexico, have given Peg an appreciation for how globalization is the new norm, and that honest communication is ever more vital to our peace. She met her husband in Hawaii, and shared a common bond with their prior experiences, each having lived in Africa and travelled to Europe.
Her hobbies include becoming involved in the best of the creative frontier in Citrus County, particularly art, photography, music, and crafts.
